As the water temps remain in the low 70’s fishing over all has stayed consistent except for the allusive muskie! We are seeing great eating size perch showing up in the shallow weed bays such as steamboat, sucker, and kabakona bay. Walleye tactics still include slip bobbers, lindy rigging and trolling crank baits. Casting spinner baits in the pencil reeds and along wild rice beds it a great way to catch northern pike and largemouth bass. Panfish can still be found on deep weedlines around the lake.
