Lake Winnibigosh fishing report 8-1-22
Lake Winni walleyes continue to cooperate well for most anglers into the first week of August. Most keeper sized fish can be found in 6-14 feet of water on the south and west shoreline breaks trolling spinners tipped with crawlers or fatheads. The scattered mid lake humps are also producing keepers and a few more big fish under slip bobbers tipped with a leech or half a nightcrawler in 16-25 feet of water. Pike are being found in the weed beds in Tamerack bay and on the main lake flats around horseshoe bar. Mixed perch are coming off of Horseshoe bar and Mallard point in 14-17 feet of water.
